The Culture of Care workshops are 90-minutes and educate, assess and prepare your workforce to build and support a culture of care in your organization. Colectiva Wellness & Healing applies appreciative inquiry and social justice frameworks in these workshops.
Consistency, engagement and practice are the keys to creating a well workforce. Colectiva’s wellness sessions are proven to reduce workforce stress. The 15-minute virtual wellness sessions provide a “walk-in” space where employees sign in and engage in their well-being. This is a self-care and resilience curriculum where sessions build upon each other incrementally strengthening the employee. Individuals are asked to check their stress levels before and after completing each session. This data is captured and included in the outcomes report.
The sessions include any of the following wellness modalities: stretching, yoga, self-massage, breath work, distant Reiki healing and various meditations. Along with trauma-informed practices and polyvagal theory exercises. These sessions will consistently support employees’ physical, mental and emotional well-being, building their resilience to effectively manage challenging situations that may arise. The team-care sessions include a combination of wellness practices and interactive, social and team-building activities. All sessions create positive social interactions, improving employee morale and most importantly engaging employees in their well-being.
Take a deep dive into a full-day retreat to implement new organizational team-care policies and practices using the Appreciative Inquiry model. Employees will learn the theory of Appreciative Inquiry, which uses positive psychology and group consensus-building and creativity to catalyze organizational change. Rather than focusing on deficits and problems, Appreciative Inquiry focuses on strengths and what organizations want to do more of to reach established goals. Appreciative inquiry is a proven change management model that seeks to engage stakeholders in self-determined change. A’dahi Baira brings a professional, personable and positive approach to her work. She is passionate about working with stressed individuals and teams and teaching them quick and effective wellness tools. She has 20 years of experience in energy healing and resiliency work. A’dahi Baira has ten years’ experience in Human Resources and Employee Wellness Management in healthcare, government and education. She is also a workshop and Appreciative Inquiry facilitator, Reiki Master Teacher, yoga & meditation instructor. She worked at Lawrence General Hospital for four years transforming employee wellbeing, and significantly decreasing employee stress levels.
