About Colectiva

Blessings y Bendiciones! Mabrika! I am A’dahi Baira (formerly known as Elizabeth Delgado), owner and founder of Colectiva Wellness & Healing. I am an Employee Wellbeing Strategist, Intuitive Healing Arts Practitioner and Activist. I live in Lawrence, Massachusetts, occupied Penacook and Pawtucket lands. My ancestors’ are from Guayama, Boriken, also known as Puerto Rico. I am a mother, a daughter, a granddaughter, a sibling, a friend, an advocate, a leader, a guide. My life purpose is teaching effective healing and resiliency practices for the empowerment of those experiencing stress and systemic oppression. I believe all bodies, all minds, all Spirits deserve healing, justice, joy, equality and liberation.

Healing Arts

I was 19 when I discovered I had the power to heal migraines through my hands. It ignited in me a lifelong passion for physical, emotional and spiritual healing. I have 20 years experience in Reiki healing, receiving all attunements and levels of training from Master Libby Barnett through the Japanese Usui lineage. I became a Reiki Master Teacher in 2016 and have taught many students. During the years, I have reclaimed my own intuitive, ancestral, channeling gifts passed down through my maternal lineage. I am currently on the path of decolonizing my religious and spiritual beliefs, and reclaiming my Afro-Indigenous Taino roots under the mentorship of Akutu Irka Mateo. Taino Daka. Hahom.

I have received training in crystal healing, angel healing, mindfulness, yoga, chakra clearing/ balancing, women’s trauma healing, ancestral medicine, inner child healing, shadow work and more. I honor all of my teachers, coaches and mentors who have passed down their wisdom for me to share with the world. I love studying and educating myself on astrology, plant allies and various earth honoring, ancestral and somatic practices. After all, my astrological signs are Sagittarius Sun, Capricorn Rising & Pisces Moon. I have helped countless clients, community members, coworkers, friends and family through the power of these intuitive healing arts.

A’dahi Baira is available for podcasts, wellness retreats, collective healing circles, life and lunar rituals.

Community & Activism

I participated in my first protest against sexual assault at 15 years old. I remember being proud about making a difference in our community. In 2007, I participated in the Boston production of the Vagina Monologues. Being on stage, speaking up against gender-based violence and having my voice heard, rekindled the activist in me. In 2008, I co-founded V-Day Lawrence, a local movement dedicated to raising funds and awareness against gender-based violence and child abuse. To date, over $50K has been raised to benefit survivors of violence through the power of art and activism events.

In 2017, I also helped organize the first Pride Flag Raising & Pulse Memorial in Lawrence through Rainbow Alianza efforts. l have served on Boards of Directors for various non-profit organizations. Along with organizing vigils, memorials, marches, plays, spoken word, art events, dance parties, mayoral inaugurations and various fundraisers in my local community. I love being in spaces where art is welcomed as a form of expression, activism, healing, movement and liberation.
